Camp Curio’s COVID-19 Policy
COVID-19 changed our lifestyle. Everyone and every community is impacted one way or the other, and it may be here to stay for a while. If the pandemic is still around us by the summer camp, Camp Curio will enforce the following strict procedures to ensure the health and safety of all campers and staffs.

Mandatory Face Mask or Covering
Every camper and staff are required to wear mask or facial covering during the entire time he/she is within the school facility.
Temperature and Health
All personnel, including staffs and campers, will have temperature taken every day upon arrival. If any camper shows signs of COVID symptom (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body ache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, running nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea), the particular person will be immediately sent home. The person displaying any of the symptoms will not be permitted to return to camp until Camp Curio receives notes from a doctor with explanation of the symptoms and a negative COVID test result.
Sanitization
The facility will be sanitized at least once daily. Hand sanitizer dispensers are located in every room.
Individualized Experiment Kit
Every child will receive their own set of materials for every single experiment. If the campers need to share a particular equipment, our staff and helper will sanitize it right after each use.
Cohort
Each class will stay in its own group. The campers from each class do not mingle with other classes at the camp. This applies to the Main Session, Early Extended Care, Afternoon Extended Care, and Elective Class.
Bathroom
Each cohort is assigned its own gender-specific bathroom. If the cohort should share the same bathroom due to facility restrictions, a time-of-use schedule will be assigned. If a camper has emergency usage of the bathroom out of the assigned time, our staff will sanitize the bathroom right afterwards.
Social Distancing
All seating will be arranged 6 feet apart with plexiglass partition inside the classroom. During meal time, each class will be assigned a specific area, and each camper will have his/her own designated seating. The seating positions are arranged so that campers do not face each other directly and are 6 feet apart.
Exposure
All seating will be arranged 6 feet apart with plexiglass partition inside the classroom. During meal time, each class will be assigned a specific area, and In the event if there is an exposure in a particular cohort, all the personnel in the cohort will need to have a negative COVID test result before returning to camp. Camp Curio will make a refund based on the prorated registration fee for the missed dates.
